☀️ If You Work Out in the Morning

Mornings during the follicular phase are bright, creative, and full of potential.
This is the time to build momentum (physically and mentally) through movement that energizes without overwhelming.

Your Morning Focus:

  • Start your day with sunlight and deep breathing — oxygenation boosts focus.

  • Embrace dynamic movement — yoga, Pilates, or circuit-style training.

  • This is the best time to learn new skills or increase resistance slightly.

  • Keep mornings playful — allow curiosity, not rigidity.

💬 Your job: Build energy, don’t burn it.

💧Hydration Tip

Estrogen is rising, which can thicken cervical fluid … meaning your hydration needs increase.

  • Begin with 16 oz of water + trace minerals or electrolytes.

  • Add a splash of lemon for gentle liver support.

  • Aim for at least 2.5 liters by evening.

BEFORE YOUR WORKOUT

Pre-workout meal (within 15-60 min. See Rules of Thumb)

Focus: Light fuel for energy + brain function.

Examples:

  • Rice cake with almond butter + sliced banana

  • Oatmeal with berries and chia

  • Apple with peanut butter + cinnamon

  • Protein smoothie with spinach and maca

  • Yogurt with granola and honey

  • Avocado toast on sourdough

  • Boiled egg with sweet potato cubes

  • Cottage cheese with pineapple

  • Warm matcha + handful of almonds

  • Rice pudding with hemp seeds

💬 Fuel to feel focused, not full.

AFTER YOUR WORKOUT
